Lane Grigson is a glass artist from Plano, TX, pursuing a BFA. in Craft + Design at the Cleveland Institute of Art (CIA). Since starting at CIA, he has exhibited work in the 2025 Cleveland Institute of Art 79th Annual Student Independent Exhibition and showcased a collaborative piece titled Rain with Theadis Reagins at the Cleveland Botanical Garden. Grigson has also displayed work in the Glass Symposium at the Hopkins Hall Gallery at the Ohio State University, Columbus (OH). In addition to his work in glass, he is also an aspiring writer, with several entries featured in Ctrl + S, the CIA Student Art and Literary Magazine. Grigson has also received scholarships from the Windgate Foundation to attend a summer workshop at the Arrowmont School of Craft. His love of space and storytelling is a consistent theme throughout his work.
